Career Outlook

By 2025, more than 100,000 new jobs are expected to be created in the unmanned aircraft industry. Half of these jobs will be created in the defense sector and the other half in the commercial sector. Annual salaries will range from $60,000 to $145,000.

Drone journalism workshops, drone boot camps, and drone programs across the country are all oversubscribed because of the high-wage opportunities this industry promises.
