So, what types of careers exist in quantum computing? Here are a few.

Quantum Algorithm Researchers conduct studies to develop new algorithms and computational techniques that leverage the principles of quantum mechanics. They explore mathematical frameworks and potential applications for new quantum algorithms, as well as collaborate to define and refine theoretical proposals. 

Quantum Applications Specialists focus on identifying and exploring real-world applications where quantum computing can provide a competitive advantage or breakthrough solutions. They work closely with experts from different industries to understand their challenges and translate them into quantum-compatible problem formulations.
