Dr. Erick Miyares’ journey to cyberpsychology was not a straight line—it was forged across decades of service, leadership, and lived experience at the intersection of human behavior and national security. A 29-year Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and U.S. Army, Dr. Miyares spent much of his career conducting special operations and intelligence missions where technology, cognition, and human decision-making converged under extraordinary pressure.

When Angel Ibeawuchi began looking at colleges as a high school student, Capitol Technology University’s immersive approach to cybersecurity education and experienced industry-professional faculty caught her interest. Now, she holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Capitol and is currently pursuing her doctorate in forensic cyberpsychology.

Dr. Diane M. Janosek, CISSP, LPEC, is CEO of Janos LLC, where she leverages her law degree and Ph.D. in Cyber Leadership to focus on the intersection of law, policy, and technology. She was a member of the U. S. Defense Intelligence Senior Executive Service with leadership roles at the National Security Agency, including Commandant at National Cryptologic University, Deputy Director of Compliance, and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer. She served as Legal Counsel at the White House and the Pentagon and is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court. Dr. Janosek earned her M.S. in Strategic Intelligence from National Intelligence University, J.D. from the Catholic University of America, and Ph.D. from Capitol Technology University.
