Join us for one of our hands-on SolidWorks introductory workshops! Capitol Tech now offers an on-campus workshop series for students who are interested in learning more about computer-aided design, 3-D printing, and engineering technology basics.

Amelia Wear

Professor

Prof. Amelia Wear joined Capitol Technology University in 2025 and currently serves as a Full-Time Faculty in Mechatronics Engineering. With a strong background in industry, their teaching focuses on bridging theoretical concepts with practical skills in robotics, automation, and systems integration. They are committed to application-based learning, student-community engagement, and contributing to the continuous improvement of academic programs and student success initiatives. They earned their Master’s in Software Engineering from Penn State University.
