Dr. Michael Clayborn
Dissertation Chair
Dr. Michael Clayborn is a Dissertation Chair with Capitol Technology University and a cybersecurity professional with 10 years of experience in the field. He has a Master of Science in Information Assurance (MsIA) and a Doctor of Science (DSc) in Cybersecurity both from Capitol Technology University. In addition to his degrees, he also holds multiple cybersecurity certifications. During his doctoral studies, Dr. Clayborn wrote a dissertation on defining an act of cyber warfare against critical infrastructure using current internal law and treaties. In his free time, he enjoys meeting with his local chapters of InfraGard and ISACA. He also enjoys tinkering with Raspberry Pi’s and other fun tech projects, testing AI tech, working on cars, and coaching youth volleyball at the local YMCA. In 2025, Dr. Clayborn wrote and published a children's book for his youngest daughter called "All Frogs Know Karate."
