Dr. Troy C. Troublefield is an Adjunct Professor and Doctoral Research Chair at Capitol Technology University, specializing in Cyber Leadership, Cyberpsychology, Cybersecurity, Forensic Cyberpsychology, and Global Security and Intelligence. He has a rich educational background, holding multiple advanced degrees, including a DBA from the International School of Management (2017), a PhD in Cyberpsychology from Capitol Technology University (2024), and a PhD in Information Technology from Capella University (2025). He is also on track to complete his MS in Strategic Information and Cyberspace Studies from the National Defense University in 2026.

Dr. Troublefield’s professional career spans two decades in strategic intelligence and cybersecurity. He has serves as a Program Manager for U.S. European Command (EUCOM), demonstrating expertise in Psychological Operations PSYOP), policy development, and joint operational planning. He has also held teaching roles at esteemed institutions such as the National Intelligence University and the Joint Special Operations University, where he has imparted knowledge in strategic intelligence, leadership, and cybersecurity.

His research interests include cyberpsychology, human-computer interaction, network security, quantum computing, and the intersection of software-defined networks with containers for enhancing cybersecurity. Dr. Troublefield has published extensively, including peer-reviewed journal articles and dissertations on topics such as cross-cultural competence in military operations and leadership strategies in information-rich environments.
