Capitol leadership meets with representatives of China's Shandong University



On Thursday, December 17, 2009 representatives from Shandong University of Science and Technology were welcomed to campus with the intention of meeting with Capitol leadership to foster international cooperation and exchange in education and research.

On this visit, the first of many more to come, all representatives signed an agreement that begins the process of negotiation for a future partnership. During the term of the agreement, professors, executives and student scholars will meet to discuss and finalize the terms of a final contract to host and exchange students between the two institutions.

While on campus, Shandong University staff and faculty had the chance to tour the campus’s laboratories and other facilities, meet key faculty members and learn more about the college and surrounding area.
