Capitol Technology University Ranks #1 in Maryland for Graduate Salaries

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Laurel, MD—A ten-year study of college students in Maryland shows that at every academic level, Capitol Technology University graduates earn higher salaries than students from all other Maryland colleges and universities.

The study, conducted by the Maryland Longitudinal Data System Center (MLDSC) and published on the College Labor Sector and Wage Explorer (MD-CLaWE)  identifies Maryland workforce participation and wages for Maryland college graduates who work in the state.

According to the data, average annual earnings for Capitol Tech grads in Maryland were:

  • Up to $70,000 for bachelor’s graduates
  • Up to $115,000 for master’s graduates
  • Up to $176,000 for doctoral graduates

These outcomes demonstrate the fulfilled promise of Capitol Tech's mission to empower students for success through excellence in STEM education and industry engagement.

Capitol Tech has historically seen consistent student success in and out of Maryland, with 82% of undergraduates receiving a job offer or opting to continue their education. Capitol Tech's signature Capitol Commitment, which guarantees that undergraduates will receive a job offer of at least $60,000 within 90 days of commencement, is a further reflection of the confidence the university places in the value of its degree programs.

Through its industry-focused curriculum, expert faculty, and established partnerships with government, leading tech companies, and other public sector employers, Capitol Technology University continues to stand out as a top performer in Maryland and beyond for return on investment and student success.
