It is always a thrill to welcome Capitol Tech students to a new academic year. We’re especially excited to see our largest undergraduate class in recent memory join us on campus.
At Capitol Tech, your education is designed to extend beyond the classroom. Our expert faculty bring real-world experience to their curriculum and are here to help you learn, build, and succeed. Take advantage of lab hours, office hours, and seek advice about your future career. There are also many student-worker and volunteer roles to help you get more involved in your field of study.
Partnerships with industry are an important part of Capitol Tech’s mission, giving students pathways to connect with professionals in your field and gain real-world experience. Ask your professors how you can get involved in ways that support your career development.
If you’re a returning student, you’ll notice some exciting changes on campus, especially in our Telecommunications Building. From our new artificial intelligence lab to our relocated space flight operations lab, these renovated areas give you new opportunities to put your knowledge into practice. We hope these refreshed spaces inspire you to innovate, collaborate, and be creative.
Capitol Tech’s on-campus Puente Library offers resources for both in-person and online students, with access to research databases, digital catalogs, style guides, and more. Whether you’re studying in the library or working from home, don’t hesitate to ask for help from our librarians.
Campus life extends beyond the classroom at Capitol Tech. Student clubs such as the Cyber Battle Team and Robotics Club let you put your learned skills into practice, collaborate with peers, and compete to win. The Robotics Club has a new dedicated lab space, giving students even more room to experiment and prepare for competitions. Keep an eye out for our upcoming Clubs & Organizations Fair on September 4, where you can discover the different clubs we offer on campus, network with peers, and explore new interests. Fall will also bring a variety of events and activities across campus, so follow our social media and check your school email for announcements.
