Craig is a 1981 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and a recently retired advertising and marketing executive living in Pittsburgh. Over the course of his 40 years in the business, he worked as an art director, writer, producer, creative director, brand strategist and agency owner/partner. He’s built marketing strategies, plans, programs, and campaigns that have elevated his clients’ brands, distinguished their product and service offerings, and helped them realize billions of dollars in new revenues.

In his most recent post as Director of Brand Development at Elliance, Inc., Craig directed the strategic and creative output of their multi-disciplinary marketing team. It was here that he first worked with Capitol Technology University and helped raise its profile. Craig positioned the school as “Washington D.C.’s Premiere STEM University” and led the development of Capitol Tech’s digital strategy, website, enrollment campaigns and online positioning.

Along the way, he also got a first-hand look at the remarkable impact the University has on its students. He’s seen the many ways that Capitol Tech helps people of modest means learn how to move the levers of technology and make meaningful lives for themselves.

As a board member, Craig is deeply committed to helping Capitol Tech bring its transformative and compelling story to life.
