The program emphasizes project management, engineering fundamentals, regulatory compliance, and hands-on experience to prepare graduates for the unique challenges of airport construction.

- Core construction management principles, including project planning, scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting, and risk management
- Airport infrastructure design and construction, including runways, taxiways, terminals, hangars, and support facilities

Market Demand for Airport Construction Management Professionals
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), employment in construction, air transportation, and aerospace support services is projected to grow steadily over the next decade, projecting over 18,500 openings each year and strong, long-term demand in safety, operations, air traffic control, and uncrewed systems in support of national efforts such as the FAA’s NextGen modernization program.
