The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Healthcare Cybersecurity degree is a unique research program designed to meet the long-standing needs of today's United States Healthcare Cybersecurity in an ever changing world of risks to the Nation and individuals. Ransomware and trends in patient care need to be modelled and managed for the security of all data. The Ph.D. in Healthcare Cybersecurity program provides students with the opportunity to conduct extensive and sustained, original research at the highest level in the field. Students may elect to complete by three publications or a dissertation. The degree is for current leaders in the field who desire to elevate their skills to the highest level and to contribute to the body of knowledge in Healthcare Cybersecurity for the benefit of organizations and the Nation.

Degree Details
This program may be completed with a minimum of 60 credit hours, but may require additional credit hours, depending on the time required to complete the dissertation/publication research.
The student will produce, present, and defend a doctoral dissertation after receiving the required approvals from the student’s Committee and the PhD Review Boards.
