This webinar, the final one in the Cyber Leadership Series presented by the Center for Women in Cyber, examines how women are needed in the technology revolution, because they are essential to its success. As artificial intelligence, automation, and data-driven systems transform every aspect of life, biased algorithms are already shaping who gets hired, who gets approved for loans, and who receives medical care. When women are absent from designing these systems, the technology inherits the prejudices of the past and embeds them into the future.

This session unpacks how women’s voices, leadership, and expertise are vital to building ethical, inclusive, and innovative technology. It examines how diverse teams create better solutions, how women’s perspectives can expose bias invisible to homogenous groups, and why immediate engagement is crucial to ensure AI serves all of humanity. Ms. AI – This is Your Moment is a call to step into tech leadership now, because without women shaping these systems, the future will be neither fair nor fully realized.

The presenter, Dr. Emily Barnes, holds two earned doctorates and has a significant background in digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

The 60-minute webinar concludes with a moderated live question-and-answer period.

Capitol Technology University offers the webinar as a complimentary informational service. This webinar offers a Certificate of Attendance.
