Coming Up: Two November cyber security and IT risk management conferences – register today!



Capitol College is sponsoring the upcoming Security Conference and Exhibition and the National Summit on Planning and Implementing the 20 Critical Security Controls, both on November 12-13 in Washington, D.C. at the Ronald Reagan Building. This two-day conference program will discuss cyber security and IT risk management in government and public sector organizations. Both conference programs are led by government security experts, IT professors, and technology industry leaders.

The Security Conference and Exhibition is a two-day program for government and public organization IT professionals, which explores the threats, technologies and new security initiatives in development. The tracks are as follows:

Track 1: Current Threats and New Protection in the Security Landscape Track 2: Risk-Based Management Planning Track 3: National Initiatives for Cyber Security

The National Summit on Planning and Implementing the 20 Critical Security Controls focuses on the top 20 security threats that organizations face. The 20 Controls are expected to become the standard baseline for measuring computer security in organizations that are likely to be under attack, such as government organizations and financial institutions.
