The Capitol Scholars Program is designed for those remarkable few who have the capability to excel above others in the fields of engineering, information technology, and computer science. Your talent for technology, lofty goals, and ambitious drive could be the characteristics at earn you a spot as just one of 14 students selected each year to be a Capitol Scholar. Scholars receive a full scholarship that's more than just paying your way through college; it will allow you to participate in a prestigious four-year program that's challenging, integrated, and hands-on. The Capitol Scholars Program offers students an encouraging support system and dedicated mentors, and above all, incorporates career planning and internships into your education. Our partnership with the National Science Foundation allows you to step outside the classroom and into career environments, allowing you to go farther, achieve more, and become the future technology leader you've always wanted to be.

Qualifications
Academic Merit
- Students must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
- A 1100 combined SAT CR/M score or higher, or the ACT equivalent.
How to Apply
- Candidates must apply to the college and be accepted.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal student aid (FAFSA). Results must be sent o the Capitol College Office of Financial Aid two weeks prior to interviews.
- Nominated students are invited to a CSP Interview and Presentation Day to present their academic interests. Students may consult with admissions representative for interview preparation.
