On Saturday November 9th, four of Capitol Technology University’s females attended an all-female and non-binary hackathon known as Technica. At Technica, a 24-hour CTF was made available through the Bank of America. One of the students at Technica entered alongside 44 other contestants. While remaining in the lead by 20 points for a majority of the first day, at around 3am Jennifer noticed that she was no longer in the lead. Putting a hold on the project for the weekend, she completed an additional challenge after about an hour and a half of working, and this problem placed her in first by fifty points. Because of this, Jennifer Fox (A sophomore in the cyber security program at Capitol Technology University) maintained the lead until the next day where she found that her position had not shifted, and therefore had won the CTF.
