SAGE Scholars Offers Aid to Students Financially Impacted by COVID-19

Are you a student who has been financially endangered by the Coronavirus? SAGE Scholars has offered $100,000 total or $250 per package in aid to students attending a SAGE institution, of which Capitol is a member, who have been negatively financially impacted by the virus’ outbreak.

"In times of great challenge like the one we are facing today, it's crucial to remember that we are all in this together. We all need to be asking ourselves how we can work to not only keep ourselves safe, but how we can keep others safe and healthy,” said SAGE President, Doctor James B. Johnston. "I want this money to help as many students as possible, so that they can focus on taking classes remotely and doing their best to ensure their academic success when colleges and universities reopen."

Since 1997, SAGE Scholars Inc. has sought to make higher education more affordable and accessible to students around the nation.

To apply for these funds, designated as the SAGE Scholars Emergency Fund, please contact Capitol’s financial aid office, fill out the required form here, and send it to scholarships@sagescholars.com.
