Esports provides a space for students to not only enjoy the thrill of the game, but to develop critical communication and strategic thinking skills that can easily translate to real life and definitive careers. By working together to overcome obstacles, establishing a functional leadership structure, and delegating roles within the group, players get to experience a dynamic team environment that closely mirrors how the common workplace operates. Plus, Esports encourage students to engage with their campus community, get involved in activities, and create lasting relationships with peers and teammates.
