Commencement 2010 and Graduates' Reception

On Saturday, May 15, 2010, Capitol College graduates walked across the stage and were awarded with degrees signifiying their hard work and achievements during their college years.

Over 220 graduate and undergraduate students were conferred degrees in computer science, information technology, engineering and business disciplines, while a select few were honored with awards based on their academic performance and dedication to the betterment of the campus community.

This year, the college welcomed commencement speaker Haden A. Land to address the soon-to-be alumni. Land is a certified systems architect with 26 years of professional experience across the public and private sectors. Currently, he is the vice president and chief technology officer for Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Services - Civil Product Line.

Graduates’ Reception

To kick off the graduation weekend, Capitol hosted a Graduates’ Reception for all Class of 2010 graduates, faculty and staff on May 14, 2010 in the William G. McGowan Academic Center. This was a great opportunity for online students to visit campus and see their classmates and professors face-to-face.
